Honda VTX description
Classic, old-school cool. That sums up the VTX1300R, whose "R" stands for retro, by the way. You'll understand once you get an eyeful of this beauty, with its deeply valanced fenders, chrome-hooded headlight and timeless tank-mounted instruments. Then, of course, there's the mighty 1,312 cubic-centimeter V-twin snarling its throaty growl through staggered dual exhaust. Yeah...it doesn't get much more classic than this.
This is 2008 Honda VTX1300R with 13,144 miles is ready for you to ride today! Our Certified Service Department has done a multi-point inspection on this bike, performed any necessary maintainence, and installed a brand new set of Dunlops front and rear. This bike has been made-ready! Nothing else need be done before you take this bike around your neighborhood or around the state. The Pearl White paint looks great and is a nice change from the sea of black bikes that you usually see. There are some scratches on the front fender from where the previous owner hung a fork bag. The chrome is in great shape all over the bike except for one small area on the exhaust where someone got they're boot to close to the hot exhaust. This Honda is a great running, riding, shifting and looking bike and needs nothing but you to take it home today! Call us with any questions at 800-807-9910. Check our feedback and bid with confidence! Thanks for looking and good luck!

Things I wouldn't like to race: Part 1
Mon, 25 Jul 2011Now I know that Mike Hailwood raced a 6-cylinder Honda but that's no excuse for this CBX I spotted at the Bikers Days Spa Classic. The 1047cc, inline 6 cylinder, 24 Valve, DOHC Honda might be a feat of engineering brilliance but it looks like it would be a right handful on track. I've added a picture of an oil tanker to give you an idea of just how long the CBX's wheelbase really is.
