Honda VTX description

Appearance:

Minor Rust to the Chrome fittings for the mirrors and cables. Almost none any where else. The tank has a minor scratch from an unknown vandal. The scratch occupies the top of the tank nearest the seat in about a 3x2.5" area.  And I think it is supposed to say "Bitch".  Other than that...

It has always had full synthetic Motoroil and regular maintenance. I've changed the tires. 3 times and it will be in need soon. The tires are only made by Dunlap. The front usually runs $165+labor and the rear $195+labor. I keep it covered in between use. It is 6 years old   Shaft drive, no added customization, stock as the day I bought her. Rides great and will for a long time.

Not very many features to speak of. It is a retro model. So the controls are very simple. Directionals, Horn and Hibeam/Lobeam on the Clutch side. Starter and Kill Switch on the throttle side. The Speedometer is on the tank, and is backlit red at night.

It features a Honda 1300cc V-Twin which will do 0-60 in 3 seconds, even with my big butt on it. Weighs over 700lbs. The SO says 120mph on it, but it has never gone that fast. I love her too much.

Other than riding her to work everyday, rain or shine, the first 3 years I had her, and then only sunny warm days thereafter, I have taken her to Renfest at Quiet waters park twice, a state park in Stuart, FL once, and short rides around my neighborhood. Maybe 4 or 5 rides to Dania, Wilton Manors and Plantation other than that.  Never laid her down or had an accident on her.

I would like to sell her locally. But I won't deny a buyer from anywhere in the world who will pay my price, and have the bike shipped at their cost, expense, and with no guarantees or insurance or liability from me that the bike will arrive as it departed.

I live in Coral Springs, FL. I will be happy to meet a local buyer to "VIEW ONLY" the operation of the bike. And that meeting will only be conducted in the parking lot in front of the Coral Spring Police Department. No prospective buyer will be allowed to operate the vehicle until (1)Payment is Made and clears, and (2) the title is transferred to the new owner FULLY.
