Honda VTX description

2007 Honda VTX1300C, 2007 Honda VTX 1300C - This VTX includes bar risers, custom mirrors and BUB pipes. Motorcycle is in very good condition with some minor wear and pitting. Cast wheels, dual exhaust with shorty pipes, a tank-mounted speedometer and street-rod looks are what define the incomparable style of Honda's VTX1300C, while a beefy, 1,312 cc V-twin is what defines its soul. Choose between lustrous Black, Dark Red, Pearl White or Pearl Blue paint schemes, capped by gleaming, fender-to-fender chrome, and you'll know what it's like to be the center of attention.

Back in the day, the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba

Fri, 24 Jun 2011

This ‘you tube’ gem sent to me recently brought back some funny memories from the scary but incredibly exciting days of 500cc two stroke racing. This particular race was the final round of the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba Circuit where I enjoyed a head to head battle with national hero Tadahiko Taira. Yamaha’s favourite son at the time, ‘tie wrap’ as we liked to call him, was taller and better looking than most Japanese riders (maybe a war baby?) and went on to win nearly everything in Japan during his career.

Ronax 500cc Two-Stroke Sportbike Coming June 8

Wed, 16 Apr 2014

German company Ronax GmbH is producing a limited edition street-legal two-stroke sportbike rumored to be based on the Honda NSR500 GP racebike. The company isn’t releasing much information but what little it has revealed about the Ronax 500 has certainly piqued our interest. What we do know for certain is the motorcycle will be powered by a 500cc two-stroke V-4 engine, which sounds like Honda’s racebike of yesteryear.

NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.
