Honda VTX description

Beautiful cruiser, purchased from dealer, garage kept.  This was my first bike, love it, but want to move to something bigger.  I have the clean title, and will require the buyer to pick up the bike from my location (no shipping options).  Cash or cashier's check ONLY.  NADA book value over $6,000, asking for no less than $5,500.  Would be willing to consider trade for BMW K series of comparable value.  Please e-mail me with questions or text me at 304-281-4627, thanks!

Traction control? Yawn...

Tue, 10 Jan 2012

My long-term Fireblade went back to Honda last week and, seeing as it’s sunny and mild outside now, I’m already missing it. It is one of the best 1000cc sports bikes out there, I don’t care what anyone else says, the way it makes its power is just perfect for fast road use. With the Power Commander 5 fitted and the fuelling sorted my 2011 Blade performed as well if not better than the 2012 version.

Asia-Only Honda VTR250 Gets Half-Faired Variant for 2013

Tue, 12 Feb 2013

Honda‘s CBR250R has done fairly well for itself since its introduction in 2011, helping to revitalize the entry-level segment of the market in the U.S. What some people may not realize is Honda has been producing a 250cc-class called the VTR250. Available in its current form since 1997, the Honda VTR250 is a naked standard with a Ducati Monster-esque trellis frame offered in the Asia-Pacific region.

Having a Randy Mamola moment

Thu, 10 May 2012

Back in 1985 Randy Mamola was captured on film performing the most miraculous save of all time, hanging on for dear life as his Honda NSR500 tried to fling him from his seat. Recently, we've seen some impromptu homages to the original with Jonathan Rea at Assen and the near-save from Jakub Kornfeil in the Moto3 race at Jerez. Now we have on-board footage of American racer Genki Hagata calming a high-side at the Infineon Raceway in California.
