Honda VTX description

Always garaged, just over 16k miles. Very minor wear here and there, but nothing noticeable. Clean and well maintained. Comes with Vance & Hines Big Shots, a cone style American Thunder Intake, power commander with custom dyno tune (120lb/ft of torque!). All of the chrome still looks great, and the stock airbox and exhaust are also available. Also included in the sale are a craftsman motorcycle jack and an oil filter wrench. The bike is equipped with speed bleeders on all brake calipers and the clutch master cylinder, making maintenance a breeze! Fresh fluid in all reservoirs.


This bike was purchased used in 2008 with ~2000 miles on it. Most of the mileage was earned on the I-10 between Phoenix and Tucson.

Payment must be complete within a week of the sale and before the transfer of the title.

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

Honda Team HRC To Compete In 2014 Dakar Rally

Today Honda announced that through its official racing arm, Team HRC, the company will be tackling the 2014 Dakar Rally, one of the most grueling off-road races in the world. The race starts on January 5 and lasts until January 18. Five riders—Helder Rodrigues (Portugal), Sam Sunderland (United Kingdom), Javier Pizzolito (Argentina), Joan Barreda (Spain), and Paulo Goncalves (Portugal)—will ride the CRF450 Rally, a rally-racing bike specially developed for the 2014 Dakar.

Repsol Honda Signs Marquez and Pedrosa for 2013 MotoGP Season

Honda Racing Corporation announced it has signed rising Spanish talent Marc Marquez to a two-year contract on its factory team. He will race alongside Dani Pedrosa who signed a two-year contract extension with Honda to race in the 2013 MotoGP Championship. Marquez currently leads the Moto2 Championship by 43 points for the Catalunya Caixa Repsol team after finishing second in the series in 2011.
