Honda VTX description
PRICE SLASHED!!! I found the bike I want to trade for at a good price, and I will pass my savings on to you. No kidding!! And...THIS is the best season to be riding!!
You will note my 100% satisfaction rating on eBay. I am SURE you will be delighted with this bike! It is equivalent to a new bike worth more than $12,000. This is the season I sold my Gold Wing on eBay a few years ago, and the buyer could not have been happier!!
2006 Honda VTX 1300C Motorcycle. Low mileage (Just over 16,000). Better than excellent condition. When I priced this bike at the local Honda dealer it was well over $12,000 with less accessories than listed below. Recently serviced, all fluids and new tires. Garaged when not ridden. Never down, never driven hard. I am trading down to smaller bike. (I'm still riding fairly regularly).
I've noticed most of the other bikes in this category are fairly 'Plain-Jane' bikes. This one is already LOADED with all the accessories you'd really ever want to have. The extra lights on the luggage box are worth their weight in GOLD for the added safety! The Cobra light bar more than doubles visibility at night. The Utopia backrest provides amazing comfort, especially on longer rides. The Leatherlyke Bags and Givi 52-L travel box provide enough storage for MANY groceries, or travel gear for a weekend and then some! The new tires make it ride like a new bike...right off the showroom floor! I can't say enough about the Admore security lights. They were the one feature my wife raved about due to added security. They quadruple the visibility from the rear. (And who doesn't want a very visible rear?)
I'd say the mileage is rather low for a 2006 VTX 1300-C. Just over 2200 miles per year on average.
This is definitely NOT a plain-Jane bike. Everything you want or need! A real DREAM Cruiser!!
Not very interested in shipping, but will deliver free within 150 miles or so.

Long story: About 12 years ago I continued to dream about a Honda 350 I had enjoyed some 30 years before. I decided while I could still get around pretty well, I wanted to ride again, so I bought a Honda 750. LOVED IT! After a while I decided I needed more muscle to negotiate the highway driving I was doing, so I purchased a Honda VTX 1300-R...an absolutely PERFECT bike! Well, mister ambition thought if large was good, larger would be gooder...so...the next bike was a Gold Wing!!! (My kids always said it like a motor home on two wheels!) My legs were one inch too short to fully appreciate that large bike, so I traded yet again. This time for a Silver Wing scooter. Loved it too. Matter of fact I went through two of them in 4 years (as trading fever would set in). The only bike I ever regretted getting rid of was my VTX 1300, So two years ago, I traded for the bike listed here.
Well, now I am pushing 65 years old, I'm not making highway trips very often and I thought it would be fitting to trade down to a smaller bike once again. I'm interested in another scooter, perhaps a 300-cc or thereabout. I couldn't be happier with this present VTX 1300-C. It's the closest-to-perfection that a bike can be. It rides GREAT in town or on the highway. It's great for an individual or with a passenger. PLENTY of storage, great lights and service is up to date. This one is an wonderful opportunity for you!!!! Give me a call.
By the way, I began riding my bicycle back in January. I have accumulated nearly 2700 miles commuting to work, I've lost 25 pounds, and my doctor is thrilled with my lab numbers! That's another reason I'm not riding my Honda as much as in the past. I just don't want to lose the option of jumping on a motorized bike to zip across town...but I don't really need this full-service cruiser for now.

Japanese Motocompo Anime
Mon, 21 Feb 2011Last week we revealed that Honda are likely to launch the new Honda Motocompo - over 30 years since the first version. I must admit, I'd never heard of it before we ran the news story, so I got onto YouTube and tried to find footage of a very efficient and humble Japanese businessman unloading one out of the boot of a Honda Civic in order to minimise their carbon footprint, but no... I couldn't find one.
2013 AMA Supercross Atlanta Race Report
Mon, 25 Feb 2013James Stewart captured his first AMA Supercross win in nearly a year, leading every lap in front of 68,987 fans at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta in his most consistent main event showing so far this season. The Yoshimura Suzuki racer was dominant in Atlanta, posting the fastest qualifying times and taking the holeshot to lead his eight-lap heat race before doing it again in the 20-lap main event. Stewart’s previous win was March 10, 2012, at Daytona International Speedway.
Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season
Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
