2005 Honda VTX1300S Spoke Retro, The VTX1300 Retro offers a distinctive style. VTX (which stands for V-Twin Extreme)Some think that bigger is better.... In many ways the VTX1300 is a better bike than its 1800cc counterpart. Styling is nearly identical, but the drivetrain is smoother, handling is much more responsive, and the sound is classic V-twin. This one is dressed with a windshield, and a passenger backrest, with a rack on it. It also has Cobra pipes on it. It only has 7768 miles, the bike looks like new! A Weighty Issue
Mon, 03 Nov 2008For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
2014 Pata Honda WSBK and WSS Team Presentation
Mon, 27 Jan 2014Honda presented its 2014 World Superbike and Supersport team, including the new CBR1000RR SP racebike in a presentation at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy. Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam are returning in the Pata Honda team colors to ride the CBR1000RR SP in the WSBK class while Michael van der Mark and Lorenzo Zanetti will ride the CBR600RR in the WSS championship. Last season was disappointing for Honda, with both Rea and Haslam missing significant time due to leg injuries.
John McGuinness rides the electric future

One wonders whether Honda would have announced that it is actually a Honda if McGuinness had taken the win. There's certainly plenty of Honda money behind the bike.
