Isle of Man TT 2013: Sure Sidecar Race 1 Results

The 2013 edition of the Isle of Man TT kicked off with the first of two scheduled three-lap Sure Sidecar races. The favorites going into the race were the DMR duo of Dave Molyneux and his passenger Patrick Farrance. Molyneux won both Sidecar races at last year’s event and is third overall in Isle of Man TT career race wins with 16.

If you were ever curious how to convert your smelly, noisy and dirty gas powered motorcycle into a quiet and zero emissions electric motorcycle then you have to check this video out from GomiStyle.  They take an old Honda Rebel 250 and customize the frame to accommodate the electric motor and batteries, they claim the conversion should take about two to three days to complete, the batteries will take about 5-8 hours to charge and will give you a top speed of 45 mph. Robert Gurga has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Motorcycle Division. “After nearly 30 years with the Motorcycle Division, I have made the decision to step down,” said Blank.
