Honda MotoGP Testing Idled By Engine Failure Investigation

A red warning light prevented Honda riders from taking part in the second day of MotoGP testing at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit. While its competitors were hitting the track, Honda was forced to wait for analysis on the engine of Dani Pedrosa‘s RC213V. A red warning light on the RC213V’s dash came on late in the first day of testing, indicating a potential failure.

Lehman Rolls Out Gold Wing F6B Trike

In what has to be the company’s biggest splash since being resuscitated by Champion Trikes a couple of years ago,  Lehman Trikes has released the Monarch II LLS conversion for the Honda F6B. The Monarch II LLS features independent suspension, parking brake, 6-cubic-foot trunk with vertical lift door, and, like its namesake, a ton of accessories, standard. Max Biaggi won the opening race to the 2012 World Superbike Championship while defending champion Carlos Checa came back from a high-speed crash in the first race to win the second at Australia’s Phillip Island circuit. Reigning champion Checa of Althea Ducati had a stunning high-side crash while leading on the sixth lap of Race One. The WSBK paddock was already in shock with the death of 17-year-old Oscar McIntyre in the Superstock 600 race the day before but thankfully Checa was not seriously injured.
