Honda Shadow description

Barely ridden, always stored in my heated garage is this sweet 2010 Honda 750 Shadow Phantom Edition Cruiser.  As the pictures show this bike has less than 600 original miles on it.  The bike has the sweet Phantom Package which sets it apart from other Shadows, with it blacked out tough looks.  I don't have time to ride this sweet machine, and truth be told the wife doesn't approve.  This bike is perfect for cruising or commuting- the 750 engine is extremely powerful without being an insurance nightmare or a gas hog.  Come look at this machine and you'll buy it.  For all purposes its like brand new.  I'll even throw in my new leather riding jacket (size L) and brand new helmet. Price is well below the market value.(This is basically a new bike)  Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.

I'll ad a photo of the jacket and helmet later.

Honda has patented a technical solution from the arsenal of the Gold Wing tourer.

Thu, 02 Apr 2020

The modern Honda Gold Wing is equipped with a double wishbone front suspension, which not only increases ride comfort, but also allows the geometry of the motorcycle not to change during acceleration and braking. Lever suspension, which stabilizes the bahavior, may appear on other models of the company in the future. This is hinted at by patent images of similar systems integrated into the design of completely different motorcycles - the “classic” CB1100 and the small-capacity C125 Super Cub.

So that's why he's called RANDY de Puniet

Tue, 20 Jul 2010

RANDY de Puniet may well have just been ejected from his LCR Honda RC212V MotoGP racer during qualifying for Sunday's Sachsenring GP but that ain't gonna stop him from bringing one of the company perks with him to Dr Costa's on-circuit surgery. The Frenchman crashed during qualifying after hitting oil and water spilled on track by Jorge Lorenzo's Fiat Yamaha, after it spewed its guts along almost the entire length of the start finished straight. Following the crash De Puniet was whisked away on a stretcher with a suspected broken foot.

Ashley Fiolek Featured in Vogue Magazine

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

We can’t say for sure but this likely a first: a motocross racer featured in Vogue magazine. Fact-checking aside, we’re proud to report three-time Women’s Motocross Champion Ashley Fiolek will be the subject of a four-page feature in the upcoming April issue of the noted fashion magazine. The feature looks at how Fiolek finds success on the track while facing the challenge of being deaf in a sport where hearing is important.
