Honda Shadow description

2014 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 ABS, 2014 Honda Shadow Spirit ABS
The Spirited Cruiser.
Sit on a Shadow Spirit 750 and we know what you re going to think: This is the perfect bike for me. And no wonder: The Spirit 750 Combines style, performance, comfort and Honda technology all into a sporty cruiser package. The 21-inch wheel out front sets the tone, and the V-twin engine provides all the fun. In between you ll find a perfect blend of classic and modern styling touches, including spoked wheels, plenty of chrome and a super-comfortable riding position. Get ready for some stares when you re riding this bike. And plenty of envy, too.
Features may include:
The Power That Lurks In The Shadows.
There s nothing like a V-twin when it comes to cruising. And the Shadow Spirit gets one of our best: a 745cc powerplant that provides plenty of torque and a wide, user-friendly powerband.
How Low Can You Go?
The Spirit features a low seat height, and the V-twin s narrow construction makes it feel even lower. That s good news at stoplights or in parking lots.
Strong, Silent Type.
The Spirit s durable and virtually maintenance-free shaft final drive ensures smooth, dependable power delivery to the asphalt. No hassles, no grease flying everywhere. Just smooth, quiet power transfer.
*SRP $8,240. Does not include $310 in destination charges.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.

Pata Honda To Test ‘Speed Gene’ At Jerez

Tue, 01 Apr 2014

This just in from the Pata Honda World Superbike team: The Pata Honda team has announced the introduction of a nepotistic youth policy designed to enhance development and ensure continuity of its world championship racing program. On tomorrow’s third and final day of the World Superbike championship test currently taking place at Jerez in Spain, regular riders Leon Haslam and Jonathan Rea will hand over their Honda CBR1000RR SP racing machines to their respective young sons. Despite being less than a year old, Max Haslam and Jake Rea are deemed to have inherited sufficient quantities of the so-called ‘speed gene’ to warrant a full test on the sophisticated production race bikes.
