2013 Honda Shadow Aero, Looking For Your Next Bike? 2013 Honda Shadow Aero
Classic Style. Modern Performance. Retro Price.
Honda's line of Shadows are some of the most popular cruisers on the road. And one look at the Shadow Aero will tell you why. Classic, retro style, like the spoked wheels, full fenders, and long, chromed mufflers. Thoroughly modern performance courtesy of the 745cc V-twin engine, specially tuned for low-revving torque. And maintenance-reducing features like shaft final drive. Best of all, the Aero is a huge bargain, giving you a big-bike ride without the big-bike price. And it's a bargain when it comes time to fill up, too. If you're ready to turn some heads in a big way, and appreciate a bike that's never going to go out of style, the Aero is the machine for you.

There's Nothing Retro About How It Performs
Like everyone else, what first got you looking at a Shadow Aero was its perfectly executed Retro style. But the Aero's beauty is way, way more than just sheet metal deep. Like every Honda, it offers an unmatched level of quality, innovation, and value. And like the Aero's good looks, that never goes out of style.

V-Twin Engine
Nothing pumps out the torque like a big V-twin. The Aero's power makes it perfect for both around-town cruising, commutes, and casual weekend-long rides.

Front Disc Brake
If there's one place you DON'T want retro performance, it's when it comes to your brakes. That's why we gave the Shadow Aero a 296mm front disc for distinctly modern stopping power.

2-Into-2 Exhaust System
Sleek new pipes feature bullet-style mufflers for that classic cruiser style of yesteryear. Large-diameter head pipes and 2-into-2 system design combine to put out true, V-twin cruiser sound.

Gardner chilling out and taking it easy

Wed, 14 Jul 2010

Away from the pressures of being a Grand Prix racer in the days when fierce on-track battles and unexpected highsides were common place, Wayne Gardner throws a Honda VFR750F around Oran Park in Australia. The bike that Wayne is likely to be riding is special VFR750F, that was given the codename '6X'. The VFR was an experiment with prototype components including titanium valves and magnesium flat-slide carburetors, the result was the bike that weighed less than a factory RC30.

WSBK 2013: Moscow Race Report

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.

BMW 1000RR and the Honda C70, are they indestructible?

Wed, 20 Apr 2011

I’ve managed 1374 miles on the Michelin Power Pures (mostly on track) and although we’ve had some decent temperatures they still look like new so there’s plenty meat left for another month at least. I’ve been running them at 30psi front and 32psi rear and find they warm up after a few miles but I wouldn’t say the temperature comes any quicker than any of the competition so it has to be four miles before I get brave. I’ve had a few out the seat moments with my BMW but I have got the rear suspension  set pretty hard (8 rebound,8 compression, two turns on pre load) and in slick mode, so 190bhp in first gear at the Knockhill hairpin is always going to be dodgy.
