Honda Shadow description

2010 Honda Shadow Phantom (VT750C2B), 2010 Honda Shadow Phantom 750 in remarkable condition. This bike has less than 3,000 miles on it and is in nearly factory condition. Upgraded Cobra Streetrod flat black pipes make this bike both look and sound incredible. Garage kept as a non-daily driver it's entire life and it has NEVER seen the ground. Brand new Duralast Gold battery as of 9.18.13. There are two very minor imperfections to this bike: 1) the left rear turn signal gasket is a little loose (almost not noticeable and has no functional implication) 2) the leather strap on the seat has a little ware on it. Apart from that, this bike looks stunning, sounds fantastic and has been taken care of every day of it's life. I am the first and only owner, bike was purchased from Honda Powersports in Huntington Beach right off the showroom with one mile on it. Would also be willing to part with a nearly new SHOEI RF-1100 black helmet with dark smoke visor and a Large Alpine Stars synthetic kevlar reinforced jacket for $500 if need (thats a steal, helmet alone costs more brand new). Dakar Begins This Sunday!

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

Dakar is an international, bad-ass, multi-day off-road event and if you’re not a fan you should be. Crossing the borders of Argentina, Bolivia and Chile the route takes motorcycle and ATV competitors through more than 5400 miles of extreme riding conditions. Competing cars and trucks go even farther.

WSBK 2013: Portimao Race Report

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Marco Melandri and Eugene Laverty split a pair of victories at Portugal’s Portimao circuit while Sylvain Guintoli took advantage of some misfortune to his championship rivals to increase his lead in the 2013 World Superbike Championship standings. Guintoli has been leading or sharing the lead in the championship since winning the first race of Round 1 in Australia, but amazingly continues to lead despite having just that single victory after six rounds. The Aprilia rider has accomplished this through his consistency (Guintoli leads all racers with nine podium finishes in 12 races) and ability to finish each race (he’s the only rider in the top seven without a DNF).

Honda to Shift Mid and Large Displacement Motorcycle Production to Thailand

Tue, 29 Nov 2011

Honda is reportedly moving production of 400cc and larger motorcycles to Thailand from Japan to reduce production costs and overcome the rising value of the yen. According to Japanese news outlet Daily Yomiuri, Honda plans to produce 400cc and 500cc models at a new factory to be built in the suburbs of Bangkok, Thailand. Honda currently produces small displacement models such as the CBR250R in Thailand, with larger models coming out of Honda’s factory in Kumamoto, Japan.
