Honda Shadow description

This is my 2010 Honda Shadow RS, also known as a VT750RS. It has been a fun, reliable bike for me. Wish I had more time to ride it. I bought it new in late 2010. It has about 2800 miles. It is in great condition. It has always been garaged, never been dropped.

The Shadow RS has a comfortable upright riding position. It is more upright than other Honda Shadow models like the Spirit or Phantom.

The bike is almost complete stock except that I added a rear rack, passenger backrest and a quick disconnect battery charge connection.

I'm selling it because I wanted to try a sport bike, and I bought another Honda since I had such good luck with the Shadow. My new bike is a CBR500R.

If you are interested in buying the Shadow, contact me ASAP.

Motorbike cognoscenti recognize the Vyrus name, the Italian brand producing exotic sportbikes based on the amazing hub-center-steered Bimota Tesi. The Vyrus story begins when Bimota filed for bankruptcy in the early 2000s. Vyrus principal Ascanio Rodorigo, a former Bimota employee, began producing his version of the Tesi after Bimota let its patents expire while it was in bankruptcy.

American Honda Played A Big Role In Bringing Nicky Hayden Back To Team Red

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

In late 2013, American Honda was presented with an opportunity to bring Nicky Hayden back to the Honda family, and renew the relationship that started in 1999 when Hayden was just 17. By retaining Hayden’s services to ride the Honda RCV1000R in the MotoGP World Championship series for the DRIVE M7 Aspar Team in the 2014 and 2015 seasons, American Honda is also now a proud sponsor of the DRIVE M7 Aspar Team. His first MotoGP season (2003) saw Hayden finish fifth in the championship on the Repsol Honda RC211V and win Rookie of the Year honors.
