Honda Shadow description

Here we have a clean barely used 2002 Honda Shadow Spirit.

Very low miles, I am the second owner and have only rode 1500 miles or so in the last 5 years.

The gas tank has been repainted by the previous owner, something bumped into it in his garage, it has never been laid down.

Tires, seat and everything else in great shape.

I have added Vance & Hines straight shot exhaust, rejeted carbs and added 6" forward controls on the gear shift and brake.

I have a yellow tinted windshield, the oem exhaust and a shop manual to go with it, (see pic)

Dan Gurney’s Two-wheeled Terror at IMS

Tue, 09 Dec 2008

When the Gurney Alligator A6 made its debut in 2002, the world saw a glimpse of a new concept in sport motorcycles. Long, low, quick and efficient like its namesake, the ’Gator was like nothing we’d seen before. The bike was the brainchild of Dan Gurney, the legendary F1 and Le Mans winning driver and championship-winning sports car builder.

Do You See the Motorcycle?

Tue, 15 Dec 2009

The Honda crotch rocket rider was traveling at approximately 85 mph. The VW driver was talking on a cell phone when she pulled out from a side street, apparently not seeing the motorcycle. More photos after the jump.

Press launches - the ugly truth. Part 3

Sun, 03 Apr 2011

So with an afternoon of sightseeing completed (a rare luxury on most launches) it's back to the hotel for the press conference. These are you usually long winded, tooth pulling affairs with Japanese technicians insisting on speaking their bestest engrish which only serves to elongate the proceedings. Nothing kills a presentation more than reading every word of a powerpoint slide verbatum, even thought the viewers can read exactly the same words (and probably a lot faster).  The Crossrunner presentation was mercifully brief and snappy followed by dinner in the hotel and a reasonably early night as everyone had already been up for twenty hours.
