Honda Shadow tech info
Honda Shadow description
This bike is a great running bike. I've owned it since new the only reason I'm selling is I can't ride two bike sat once and I got a bigger one. This bike is A great starter bike at that and yes there will probably be a few more miles on it because I don't let them sit because its bad for them I absolutely enjoyed this bike and would love to keep. It has always started with no problems it looks and sounds as close to a Harley as you can get has a complete Vance and Hines Exhaust system which sounds absolutely amazing. It also still has the baffles in it so I guess it could be louder if you want right now it has a nice deep sound but nice and quiet if you want. It also has a low seat height so if youre into that there's another plus. Happy Bidding you wont regret the purchase |

2012 Honda NC700X Recalled in Canada
Wed, 19 Sep 2012Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2012 Honda NC700X and (Edit: the recall now includes the NC700S, which is also available in Canada). At this point, the recall is only for the X model and only in Canada, but a similar recall may come from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for the U.S.-spec Honda NC700X. According to Transport Canada, the outer plates on the links of the drive chain may not have received proper heat treatment.
A Weighty Issue
Mon, 03 Nov 2008For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
