Honda Shadow description

Here is one really nice Honda for sale.  My brother bought this brand new in 2000 and has been the sole owner up until last year, at which point I bought it from him.  In the thirteen years of ownership he only put 1828 miles on it!  As a matter of fact, it hasn't been registered since 2007 or inspected since 2004!  It hasn't been ridden very much at all.  It just sat in the garage, just being moved from one spot to another.  He put the following aftermarket items on it...

  1. Seat backrests
  2. Saddlebags and Fender bag
  3. Two tone windshield
  4. Highway bar and highway pegs
  5. Complete Vance and Hines exhaust system
  6. K&N jetting kit and Washable filter
Also included is a really nice bike cover for storage.  Hopefully you are in the market for a really nice motorcycle at a great price.  I am looking to get exactly what I paid for it.  I didn't put some giant reserve price on it.  Yes it is thirteen years old and yes it is used, but I promise it is worth every penny.
The battery has been replaced and is strong.  The tires are starting to show some checking, so you might have to replace them for inspection.  I am guessing with some fresh gas and plugs it won't miss a beat.  The carb has stayed drained in storage and I haven't messed with it since I wasn't in the position to ride and enjoy it.

Please feel free to e-mail me and ask questions.  I will answer your questions truthfully and post them with the response, on this ad for others to read.  If you need to talk to me over the phone, I would be happy to send my number.

I would like to leave the shipping up to you, but if you absolutely cannot come to pick it up, I may be able to help you in some form.

Thank you for your interest and happy bidding.  God Bless

This entry-level offering checks all the boxes for new riders and seasoned enthusiasts alike Photos by Jay McNally The Honda XR150 has been in production since 2003, though up until recently it wasn’t available in the US market. Selling most of the units in Asia or Latin America, the XR150 platform is one of the most popular entry-level dual-sports, and its introduction to the US comes with some welcome perks; time tested engine and components plus a 20-year history of available parts – both OEM and aftermarket. Honda’s reliability is legendary, and this little XR150L is likely no exception.

Gresini Unveils 2012 MotoGP and Moto3 Honda Race Bikes

Tue, 13 Mar 2012

Last season, Alvaro Bautista rode on one of the best looking motorcycles on the MotoGP grid, the Suzuki GSV-R in Rizla powder blue livery by Troy Lee Designs. This season, Bautista is riding the Gresini Honda RC213V, but instead of its previous white paint job, the Gresini machine is in a sleek black. No reason for the color change was announced, though it’s possible the choice is a sign of mourning for the late Marco Simoncelli whose place Bautista is assuming with Gresini.
