Honda Shadow description
I have a 1985 Honda Shadow VT500 that i am looking to sell. It runs well but it needs a new choke cable. It has 12054.zero miles on it. It's been kept outside under a tarp. It has some rust spots on the chrome but not to bad. It will need a battery but i can jump start it. I only want to sell this because i want to get a bigger bike. It's a great learners, beginers bike. It will need the plastic part between the body and turning lamps as for the old ones are sun faded and now the light houseing just hangs there. I can send photos by phone or text at. Looking for the best offer. I am asking $1,500.00 but i am willing to come down on the price to acomodate new parts. Spammers be aware!!!! I will turn you in. John McGuinness rides the electric future

One wonders whether Honda would have announced that it is actually a Honda if McGuinness had taken the win. There's certainly plenty of Honda money behind the bike.
New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips
Fri, 01 Mar 2013CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips. Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment. Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions. Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
EICMA 2008: First Impressions

I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.
