Honda Rebel description

Own The Road For Less Than You Think. Whether you are looking for classic cruiser styling, a fuel-efficient commuter or flat-out fun, all roads lead to the Rebel. It boasts a 234 cc four-stroke engine that is approachable enough for new riders, yet powerful enough for more experienced motorcyclists. It also features a low seat height that is both comfortable and confidence inspiring, a five-speed transmission that is pretty much foolproof and an electric starter that gets you going with the push of a button. Plus, you get the kind of reliability and low maintenance Honda is known for, all at a shockingly low price. No wonder the Rebel has long been one of our best-selling bikes. Low Rider. Everything about the Rebel is superbly crafted with the rider in mind, including the sub-27-inch seat height, allowing you to put both feet flat on the ground at stops. Style Meets Savings. Sure, the Rebel has classic cruiser looks, but moreover it gets phenomenal gas mileage, so you can cruise by the pumps and look good in the process. Power When You Need It. The proven four-stroke powerplant is perfectly suited for the 250-class Rebel, giving you smooth riding in the city and a powerful punch on the highway.

134th Rose Parade takes place January 2, 2023 It’s been a couple of months since Honda outlined its electric motorcycle plans, which included a mix of mopeds, scooters and three large-sized “Fun EVs” destined for North America by 2024 and 2025. The initial announcement included a teaser image of two motorcycles and a scooter. Today, Honda released another glimpse of a future electric motorcycle in, of all places, a rendering of its float for the 2023 Rose Parade.

The Honda Collection Halls in Motegi

Fri, 14 Oct 2011

I thought you may have to be from a certain era to enjoy the Honda Collection Halls in Motegi but I was wrong. This immaculate museum has hundreds of race and road bikes on display starting with the first ever (wooden) motorcycle built right up to the amazing machines Pedrosa and co are campaigning this year. Being part of the Honda owned Motegi Twin Ring circuit complex, I was expecting it to be a Honda only zone so was amazed to see lots of iconic bikes from other manufacturers also on display.

Simon and Leo

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.
