This scooter / motorcycle is in original, unrestored condition. This bike I had running this past summer. It will need a new battery. Runs and shifts fine before I put it into storage. Minor rust on the rims, missing one winker lens, cracked tail light. I was told it was a 1966 model but can not verify. Being sold as is. No title but will be sold with a bill of sale. 49cc gasoline engine with kick start. Has all correct plastic pieces in place in good condition. Headlight, taillight, dash light and horn work. Great project for restoration or with a little TLC a daily driver. I am told these scooters get between 125 to 250 miles per gallon depending on the driver's weight. Recall on Kuryakyn Transformer Passenger Floorboards for Honda Gold Wing
Tue, 20 Dec 2011Accessory manufacturer Küryakyn is issuing a recall on its Transformer passenger floorboards for the 2001-2011 Honda Gold Wing. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounts of the Küryakyn Transformer floorboards may crack and break free from the mounting bolts. The floorboards may unexpectedly fall off the motorcycle, potentially leading to a crash or injury.
