675mis, nice original bike, not perfect as you can see but still nice original 1981. It has some scratches and front fender right at the very front is bent a little, chrome is pretty nice, spokes could use cleaned up. Bike runs well, doesn't smoke, sounds good, I have been riding it around some. Put 50+ miles on it since I bought it. This has the "Hi Lo" transmission with the automatic clutch, 4 gear. Has Ohio title but from the sticker on it the bike came from California originally. All lamps work as does the horn. Gas tank has been coated sometime long ago the way it looks. Tires are original and cracked as seen. It could use a good cleaning as I have not done that. I bought this to replace an old CT90 I have but I just can't replace my old clunker I have had forever so just decided to rebuild the old and sell the nice CT110 so here it is! New kit: Davida Jet helmet
Mon, 21 Jan 2013The Davida Jet helmet is a quality piece of kit, made here in dear Old Blighty. I got my hands on one just a few days before I went on the CB1100 launch last week and I thought it suited Honda's big retro perfectly. The lining and finish is superb, with high gloss paint and a padded/quilted leather interior.
2014 WSBK – Assen Results
Mon, 28 Apr 2014Heavy rains and a fortuitous red flag were the difference in the World Superbike Championship‘s visit to The Cathedral of motorcycle racing, the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli captured his second win of the season in Race 1, which was halted early by a red flag with five laps to go just as it looked like reigning WSBK champion Tom Sykes was gearing up for a final challenge. The second race was also shortened, not by a red flag but because of a rain, turning the 21-lap race into a 10-lap sprint.
Suzuka Eight Hour capers
Mon, 05 Sep 2011Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.
