Only real issue for a 25yr old bike is a few small scuffs and scratches-mostly from use and moving it around a crowded garage-this is actually the 2nd time I have owned this same exact bike-I traded it in on a CBR and the guy that bought it put it back up for sale this spring-but not before doing a ton of stuff to it-including new tires, battery, rebuilt Ricks alternator, carb sync, fuel auto petcock replaced-no fuel smell in garage now-removing the wiring from the heated handlebar grips-they are NOT currently hooked up. The Italian division of Honda has comprehensively modified the CRF1000L, giving it the dashing style of an experimental vehicle along the way. There is a pretty good attempt to endow the motorcycle with the features of a Dakar monster.

The Japanese proposed a warning system about the danger that lies in wait for the driver in the blind zone.
