Honda Other description

2014 Honda Sabre ABS (VT13CSAE), Nothing???s As Sharp As A Sabre. How do you classify a bike as sharp as the Honda Sabre? Pro Street dragster or boulevard bad boy???the Sabre offers a heaping dose of both. It???s a sleek, modern-day custom, that???s for sure. Taking a cue from the stripped-down styling of the Fury, it goes on to carve out its own unique place in the Honda Custom lineup. Just check out the crisp, clean lines; sporty, minimalist fenders; tall, 21-inch front tire; raked-out fork and low, aggressively set bars. And let???s not forget the brawny 1,312 cc 52?? V-twin engine responsible for putting all this wickedly cool style in motion.

Having a Randy Mamola moment

Thu, 10 May 2012

Back in 1985 Randy Mamola was captured on film performing the most miraculous save of all time, hanging on for dear life as his Honda NSR500 tried to fling him from his seat. Recently, we've seen some impromptu homages to the original with Jonathan Rea at Assen and the near-save from Jakub Kornfeil in the Moto3 race at Jerez. Now we have on-board footage of American racer Genki Hagata calming a high-side at the Infineon Raceway in California.

Jefferies' TT V&M R1 for sale

Tue, 26 Apr 2011

We got a tip-off about a former David Jefferies TT R1 for sale on eBay. The owner says it's from the 1998 TT but I'm pretty sure it was the one he raced in 1999. Here's a little bit more background about the V&M TT effort in 1999: In 1990 Jack Valentine gave up racing to concentrate on running V&M Racing, and after being sacked by Honda at the end of the 1998 season, the team set about to do some giant killing.

Schwantz School, the ultimate track experience?

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

If having one-to-one instruction from an ex-MotoGP World Champion is your dream, then why not put the Schwantz School on your Christmas list for 2012. Ok, it’s in America and slightly more expensive than your average track day ($2750 for two days at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway) but many satisfied customers will argue this is the best rider training experience in the world. Your hard earned Dollar will see you alternate between the classroom and track from 8am until 4pm, then Kevin will take you on a track tour where he explains riding techniques and answers questions (he even drives the bus).
