Honda Other description

2013 Honda VT750C Phantom, COOL LOOKIN CRUISER/SAVE $1245.00/ENDS 10/31/2013 - Its looks are raw and elemental. Back-to-basics. All business. The Honda VT750C Phantom’s classic black-on-black styling stands out precisely because of its subtlety. But there’s nothing subtle about the way this motorcycle performs. The 745 cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine features Honda’s PGM-FI electronic fuel injection system, three-valve cylinder heads and dual-sparkplug combustion chambers, so you know there’s always plenty of power when you twist the throttle. And a low seat height of just 655 mm combines with an upright riding position to help riders of all sizes feel comfortable and in control. If you’re looking for a bike with a tough look but an easy-going attitude, the Phantom is for you.

The future. But we can't have it

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.

Technical details revealed in Swiss vehicle data Honda‘s been teasing its new Hornet for several months now, first with a concept at EICMA, some design sketches in June, and more recently, details about its new Parallel-Twin engine. While we wait for Honda to officially reveal the the bike, we’ve managed to get further specifications for the 2023 Honda Hornet, thanks to vehicle certification data from Switzerland. The Swiss data lines up with what Honda has already revealed about the Hornet, including its 755cc Parallel-Twin Unicam engine and its claimed output of 90.5 hp at 9500 rpm, 55.3 lb-ft.

Front wheel hopping on a 'Blade

Wed, 25 Aug 2010

In my youth I used to spend hours with my mates pulling stoppies on our mountain bikes and then proceeding to hop on the front wheel for as long as we could or replicating the tricks we'd see our trials heroes perform. But the idea of doing this on a Honda Fireblade is puzzling, but stunt rider Odair Salmazo has it cracked.
