Specifications for the 2014 Honda CBR300R have surfaced from CIMAMotor in Chongqing, China, where the new small-displacement sportsbike made its debut. Join the CBR 300 Forum According to the spec sheet, will be powered by a fuel-injected 286cc single-cylinder engine, with a bore of 76mm and 63mm stroke. Based on this, we surmise the engine is indeed based on the CBR250R’s engine which has a similar 76mm bore, but with a 55mm stroke.

Honda Reports Q1 2014-2015 Sales Results

Honda reported sales of 4.137 million motorcycles over its first quarter ended June 30, 2014. That represents a 2.0% increase over the results of the same quarter the previous year, which doesn’t sound like much. Honda Returning to AMA Pro Racing with Team Hammer and Dane Westby

Days after the release of the reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike champion from his contract, the Geico Motorcycle race team announced it will field Dane Westby with the backing of Team Hammer on a Honda CBR600RR season. Westby rode last season for Team Hammer on the M4 Suzuki GSX-R600 to finish second overall behind fellow Team Hammer rider Martin Cardenas who raced on a Geico-sponsored Suzuki GSX-R600. Last week, Team Hammer released Cardenas from his contract option for the 2013 season so he could pursue opportunities in the Superbike class.
