Honda Other description

2013 Honda NC700X, CALL 888-334-5580 AND ASK FOR ERIK HARDINNamed one of Cycle World s 10 Best Bikes for 2012 in its first year, the NC700X is an awesome commuter during the week. On the weekend it lets you go exploring in the country, or carve up a twisty canyon road. And to sweeten the deal, it s even available in two versions: one model features a conventional six-speed, manual-clutch transmission, while a second automatic transmission version is available with Honda s exclusive Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). Plus, the DCT version comes with Honda s revolutionary Combined ABS! Powerhouse Twin. The NC700X s 670cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine produces tons of torque and enough power for easy two-up cruising. But it's thrifty, too the standard transmission version gets an estimated 64 MPG.*

Honda Developing V4 MotoGP Production Racer

Fri, 22 Jun 2012

Honda is reportedly developing a production racer based on its RC213V racebike that could be sold to teams looking to compete in MotoGP. The new racebike is expected to be of a lower-spec than the RC213V prototype but perform better than a CRT machine with a production-based engine. According to a report by racing site MotoMatters and French magazine Moto Journal, the new V4-engined production racer will be sold to race teams instead of being leased, as is the case with current satellite teams and their race prototypes.

Someone is Takin' the Mick

Thu, 30 Sep 2010

Pull out the slippers and plant yourself in front of a log fire and let Mick Grant talk you through his racing career. With a foreword from our Whit', the book details Granty's life from his Yorkshire roots through to all of his seven TT wins and the intense rivalry with Barry Sheene in the 1970s. Don't judge the book by it's cover, it's not a disaster like the out-of-focus oval-pistoned Honda NR500 but a good read.

Day 11 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Extends Overall Lead

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

Day 11 marked the longest stage to date of the Dakar Rally, as the competitors tackled the 605km (376 miles) special stage, covering a variety of terrain, hard ground, mountains, plus 120km (75 miles) of sand and dunes in the Copiapo area. Despite this, and a fall at the beginning of the stage, Marc Coma again demonstrated his status as boss of the Dakar 2014, by picking up his third victory of the year, further reinforcing his position at the top of the general standings. Five-time Dakar winner Cyril Depres opened the piste for 400km before dropping slightly to finish just 02:31 behind Marc Coma in first.
