Honda Other description

Two-Wheeled Multitool. Named one of Cycle Worlds 10 Best Bikes for 2012 in its first year, the NC700X is an awesome commuter during the week. On the weekend it lets you go exploring in the country, or carve up a twisty canyon road. And to sweeten the deal, its even available in two versions: one model features a conventional six-speed, manual-clutch transmission, while a second automatic transmission version is available with Hondas exclusive Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). Plus, the DCT version comes with Hondas revolutionary Combined ABS! Powerhouse Twin. The NC700Xs 670cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine produces tons of torque and enough power for easy two-up cruising. But it's thrifty, too. The standard transmission version gets an estimated 64 MPG. Bike of the Year. This interesting, original, approachable and affordable machine takes us back to a time when those qualities helped Honda take the world by storm. Whats not to like about scooter-style storage and great gas mileage in an adventurous-looking package that goes and handles, if not like a sportbike, at least like a sporty bike? Take It With You. In the real world, we need to carry more than just a cell phone and a credit card. Thats why the NC700X offers a 21-liter utility compartment, big enough to hold most full-face helmets. Safe, secure, and convenient, youll use it every time you ride. Your Bike, Your Style. A wide array of accessories designed specifically for the NC700X is available to help you personalize your adventure and get what you want out of your new ride. Best of all, they feature the same quality and durability youve come to expect from Honda.

Maverick Vinales Quits Blusens Avintia Moto3 Team

Fri, 19 Oct 2012

Maverick Vinales seems to be living up to his name, announcing he is leaving the Blusens Avintia team despite sitting second in the Moto3 World Championship with three rounds to go. Vinales traveled with the team to Sepang for the upcoming Malaysian Grand Prix but did not take part in Free Practice and later announced the split. You may remember Vinales from last season when he raced in the former 125cc Grand Prix World Championship for the Paris Hilton-sponsored Blusens-BQR team.

Honda To Build All-Green Test Track For E-Bikes And Cars

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

Honda has been making motions about its intentions to enter the electric motorcycle market with the RC-E concept bike and the Mugen Shinden Ni electric race bike (pictured above). Those plans are further bolstered by the news Honda will be constructing a test track dedicated entirely to the development of electric motorcycles and cars. Building an entirely new test track requires a massive amount of  resources, and Honda intends to make this project 100% self-sustainable by using 70,000 solar panels, spread out over 33 hectares, with the track and remaining facilities taking up another 25 hectares.
