Honda Other description

2012 Honda ST1300A, 0% Interest Available on this Model - The Honda ST1300A’s special blend of touring comfort and sporty performance has made it an enduring favourite among riders who like to travel long distances – often by the most twisty, out-of-the-way, boy-this-is-fun routes. Its ultra-smooth 1,261 cc V-4 engine with Honda’s PGM-FI electronic fuel injection delivers a seamless spread of power and torque, while the twin-spar aluminum frame contributes to agile handling on those squiggly-line-on-a-map roads. And when you’re exploring new areas, it’s comforting to know that the ST1300A’s Dual-Combined Braking System with ABS is always ready to help when the unexpected happens. Weather-resistant hard saddlebags lock on or clip off with a single latch, making them easy to carry into your tent or hotel room. Want to vary the ergonomics during a long day in the saddle? The plush, supportive seat has three height settings with three fore and aft positions, and the electrically adjustable windshield raises or lowers at the push of a handlebar-mounted button. So pick a destination anywhere on your road map, and get going. Your Honda ST1300A is ready to show you the world like you’ve never seen it before.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

2014 Honda CTX700 Recalled in Canada for ABS Issue

Thu, 11 Jul 2013

Transport Canada announced a recall for the new Honda CTX700 because of a manufacturing error in its anti-lock braking system. The Canadian recall applies to both the CTX700N and the partially-faired CTX700T (known simply as the Honda CTX700 in the U.S. market and other markets.) According to the recall notice, the ABS modulator may have been manufactured incorrectly and could potentially fail, allowing the front and/or rear wheels to lock up under heavy braking, increasing the risk of a crash.

Honda has applied for a European Vehicle Type Approval for a new model

Fri, 06 Aug 2021

Earlier this year, a Japanese company patented the name and layout of the new NT1100 model. A while later, renderings of what a sports touring car with the engine and transmission from the CRF1100 Africa Twin might look like appeared on the network. Since then, no new information about the appearance of the NT1100 has been leaked, but just the other day it became clear that the model will be presented soon.
