Honda Other description

2012 HONDA SABRE, Nothing's as sharp as a Sabre. How do you classify a bike as sharp as the Honda Sabre? Pro Street dragster or boulevard bad boy—the Sabre offers a heaping dose of both. It’s a sleek, modern-day custom, that’s for sure. Taking a cue from the stripped-down styling of the Fury, it goes on to carve out its own, very unique place in the Honda Custom lineup. Just check out the crisp, clean lines, sporty, minimalist fenders, tall, 21-inch front tire, raked-out fork and low, aggressively set bars. And let’s not forget the brawny 1312cc 52º V-twin engine responsible for putting all this wickedly cool style in motion.Pure motorcycle. With the emphasis on the motor. With its potent 1312cc, 52° V-twin, the Sabre delivers strong low- and mid-range torque, ample passing power, and an exhaust note that you’ll love right from the start.Pro-Street style with a hefty dose of boulevard street cred.Trim. Muscular. Confident. The Sabre is the motorcycle equivalent of a light-heavyweight boxer dressed up in a tailored suit. Plenty of punch. Plenty of refinement. And a machine with instant boulevard cred.* Price shown is net price after any factory to customer rebates and does not include applicable taxes, license, 100.00 doc fee, freight or setup charges.

Rossi Finishes Second to World Champion Loeb at Monza Rally Show

Mon, 28 Nov 2011

Valentino Rossi is back on the podium. Not a MotoGP podium, mind, but for a rally car race at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza in Italy. (Post updated with video.) Driving a Ford Fiesta RS with co-driver Carlo Cassina, Rossi won two of nine stages and finished second overall to eight-time World Rally Car Champion Sebastien Loeb at the 2011 Monza Rally Show.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Wed, 08 Dec 2010

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.

Helmet Law Upheld in Ontario

Tue, 16 Jun 2009

A Sikh in Ontario, Canada, has lost his challenge to the $110 ticket he received back in September 2005 for not wearing a helmet while riding his Honda Shadow.  Baljinder Badesha, 39, claims the Ontario helmet law is “100 per cent” discrimination no matter what the safety issues are when riding without a helmet. We cannot put anything over the turban, it is against our religion.  Mr. Badesha said outside court.
