The 16-valve 4 cyl CB1000R is a descendent of the 4 cyl CB750, introduced in 1969. It marks the replacement for the Honda 919. Honda gave the MSRP as being roughly $12,000. Acceleration comes from the smooth 998cc in line fourvproducing a compression ratio of 11.2:1. Two front dual 310mm discs bitten by radial-mounted Tokico four-piston calipers and a single 256mm disc rear deliver the breaking power. Honda Raises MSRP for 2013 NC700X But Lowers Price for DCT Option
Wed, 13 Feb 2013The big news from Honda last week was the introduction of the new CTX700 and CTX700N cruisers. Flying a little under the radar however was a change to American Honda‘s pricing structure for the 2013 NC700X which sees a price increase for the base model but a price cut for combined anti-lock brakes and a dual clutch transmission Honda introduced the NC700X last year at an impressively low price of $6999 for the base model and $8999 with ABS and DCT. The low price point was one key advantage we awarded the 2012 NC700X over the $7899 Kawasaki Versys in our recent Middleweight Multi-Tool Shootout.
Honda Announces 2014 Cruisers, Customs and XR650L
Wed, 04 Sep 2013American Honda announced several models returning for the 2014 model year with no changes save for a couple of new color options, but the same pricing as 2013. These 2014 model announcements include Honda’s 750cc Shadow cruisers, its 1300cc customs, the entry-level 250cc Rebel cruiser and the XR650L dual-sport. Those waiting for more substantial changes will have to wait a bit longer for more 2014 Honda announcements.

Mon, 07 May 2012Ryan Dungey scored his fourth win of the season but it was not enough to take second place in the points race behind champion Ryan Villopoto. That honor went to JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps who placed second to Dungey in the season-ending race at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Dungey took the holeshot and led every lap to take the win for Red Bull KTM.
