Maybe its the classic lines and progressive retro-styling. Or the blacked-out cylinder fins surrounding that massive 1312cc V-twin. Or perhaps its the machines long, low-slung profile, perfectly accented with swept-back bars atop raked-out forks and full-size fenders spooning fat front and rear tires.Or maybe its simply the combination of all these things. True beauty can be hard to define. Its even harder when, like here, it leaves you speechless.Thoroughly Modern Classic.Fuel-injected and featuring three valves per cylinder, the Statelines mighty 1312cc 520 V-twin is the perfect fusion of retro design and current-day engineering.Eye CandyThe Stateline is brimming with stylish accents, and none more so than its tank-mounted speedometer, nestled inside a gorgeous, specially designed chrome housing.Brake Time

Ronax 500cc Two-Stroke Sportbike Coming June 8

Wed, 16 Apr 2014

German company Ronax GmbH is producing a limited edition street-legal two-stroke sportbike rumored to be based on the Honda NSR500 GP racebike. The company isn’t releasing much information but what little it has revealed about the Ronax 500 has certainly piqued our interest. What we do know for certain is the motorcycle will be powered by a 500cc two-stroke V-4 engine, which sounds like Honda’s racebike of yesteryear.

New MotoGP Rules for ECU and Factory Status for 2014

Fri, 26 Jul 2013

The Grand Prix Commission released new rules for the 2014 MotoGP season regarding the standard electronic control unit and what constitutes “factory status” for manufacturers. Starting in 2014, the official MotoGP ECU including internal datalogger from Magneti Marelli will become mandatory. Factory teams will be allowed to program their own ECU software while privateers will be required to run the standard software.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
