Best Helmet Designs from the 2009 MotoGP Season
Thu, 22 Oct 2009Unlike with most athletes, motorcycle racers’ faces remain hidden during competition. Baker Vs. Marquez In Superprestigio Superfinal – Video
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Marc Marquez is an incredibly talented motorcycle racer, both on asphalt and in the dirt. His skills on the blacktop are well known by now, but his speed in the dirt opened some eyes as he demonstrated during the Superprestigio, an invitational dirt track event revived by Marquez to have a little fun in the off season and showcase the skills of some of the top riders in the world. Marquez handily won the Superprestigio class for grand prix racers, while the Open class, comprised of non GP riders, was won by that class’ most notable entry: American Brad Baker, the reigning AMA Grand National Champion.
A postcard from Moto GP Jerez
Fri, 04 May 2012If the weather over the Jerez Moto GP weekend was dull then the atmosphere in the press room was the complete opposite. I smiled as they simultaneously began singing ‘Y Viva Espana’ as if to signify the end of Spanish dominance in the junior GP class.
