All of our pre-owned motorcycles have been thoroughly inspected and serviced before they are deemed saleable. Every effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe the vehicles mechanical and cosmetic condition. Sports City Cyclery ensures each vehicle go through a rigorous safety inspection and examination to disclose any and all known information about the vehicle.

Sports City Cyclery is experienced in helping Canadian buyers bring their motorcycles home. We handle all the paperwork and border crossing arrangements for you.

 

THE SALE

Upon notification that you have won the auction a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of $500.00 is to be paid via PayPal within 24 hours. If you chose “Buy Now” the deposit is to be paid via PayPal immediately. The balance of the purchase price is due within 7 days, and is to be made by either a Cashier’s Check or Certified Bank Check.

 

BIKE PICK UP/SHIPPING:

We will need all of the correct information to insure your paperwork is printed correctly and the transaction goes smoothly.  We require a 24-hour notice before picking up the bike so the proper preparations can be made. Canadian buyers need to allow 72 hours after all paperwork is faxed to the border, before picking up the bike. Please do not show up, as all our vehicle deliveries MUST be scheduled in order to give you the attention and service needed.   The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and charges, although we can assist you with locating a shipping company if necessary. We are not responsible for any damages that occur after leaving our premises. If shipping is required, full payment must be received before the bike is delivered to the shipping co. Canadian buyers must pick up the motorcycle at our location in person.

Honda Predicts 5% Increase in North American Motorcycle Sales in 2011-2012 Forecast

Honda Motor Co. announced its forecasts for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2012. Left out of Hondas previous fiscal report because of the uncertainty created by the March 11 earthquake, the 2011-2012 forecast predicts a 63% decrease in net income compared to the 2010-2011 results.

AMA Supercross: 2012 San Diego Results

Ryan Villopoto captured his second straight victory, winning the San Diego round of the 2012 AMA Supercross championship. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider now has three wins on the season, two more than anyone else, but his hold on the championship points lead has only increased to six points. Villopoto took the lead on the second lap of the main event after overtaking Brett Metcalfe of Yoshimura Suzuki who took the holeshot, with Villopoto‘s teammate Jake Weimer also in the lead group.

Voluntary Recall for Continental ContiMotion Sport-Touring Tires

Continental Tire announced a voluntary recall campaign for certain ContiMotion sport-touring tires. According to Continental, market feedback has shown some tires may experience uneven wear from the 180/60R16 74H ContiMotion rear tires. Tires may develop groove cracking and, in some cases, belt lift, conditions which can lead to a loss of tire inflation pressure and a potential for loss of control.
