Honda Other description

For sale by owner:

Red Honda VFR 1200 in great condition with color-match side panniers.

Has done just under 7300 miles. (May go up slightly as bike will still be used while the weather is this lovely!)

This bike has been well taken care of...it runs like new and is in great condition.

Rear tire has barely 500 miles on it.

Shaft drive - clean and easy to maintain.

Please note, the bike was dropped from a stopped position (typical loss of balance due to uneven terrain while at a standstill) and so has a small scratch on rear pannier and wing mirror...nothing on the engine casing or exhaust... have to look hard to see these marks. Would be very easy to have this repaired for the fastidious buyer if this was taken into account with the sale price.

Please email for details and viewing or if you have any questions!

Happy to send genuinely interested parties other photos...or just come look and ride it! Located in Columbia, SC.

Geeky snippets ahead of the Phillip Island MotoGP

Tue, 13 Oct 2009

Valentino Rossi has finished on the podium eleven times in his twelve visits to Phillip Island across all three GP classes. The only race at Phillip Island that he did not finish in the top three was on his first visit riding a 125cc machine in 1997 when he finished sixth. In 1998 and 1999 he won the 250cc races and since then has had nine podiums in the premier-class including five victories, the last of which was in 2005.

Isle of Man TT 2014: Sure Sidecar 1 Results

Mon, 02 Jun 2014

It was a long time coming, but sidecar racer Conrad Harrison can add one accomplishment to his resume: Isle of Man TT winner. Harrison, along with passenger Mike Aylott won the first of two Sure Sidecar TT races. The win was the first for Harrison since he made his Isle of Man TT debut 21 years ago in 1993.

Pit Biking; good clean fun for all the family

Wed, 01 Feb 2012

If you haven’t tried Pit Biking yet, you’re missing out on some incredible fun, and it won’t break the bank. The majority of pit bikes are of Chinese origin and I guess, are best described as modern day monkey bikes. Yes Chinese, and I’ve witnessed them being thrashed round all day long without missing a beat, so Jonny Wong and co. are finally getting there on quality and reliability!  Although Pit Bikes are designed for off road use, an extra few hundred quid spent on matching up wheels, fitting tarmac tyres and some crash protection will mean you’re track ready for a total of around £600.
