Honda Other description

2010 Honda Sabre (VT1300CS), $3k in extras!!! - Bad to the bone. What happens when you take the wicked, stripped-down styling cues of our Fury chopper and throw in a large dose of pro-street dragster? Well, you’re looking at it: the all-new Honda Sabre. And trust us, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Start with the beefy, Fury-derived 1,312 cubic centimeter liquid-cooled, 52-degree V-twin, featuring Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) and performance as muscular as it is seamless. Smooth, maintenance-free shaft final drive merely makes it that much better. And then, of course, there’s the look—short, sporty fenders, all-black frame, and a raked-out fork that screams, "You want some of this?" Make room, Main Street. The all-new Honda Sabre is here.

Day 3 Dakar 2014: Barreda Maintains Overall Lead, Despres Catches Up

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.

Honda VFR1200F launch: Even the toilet has ABS

Tue, 20 Oct 2009

Just touched down in Tokyo after a twelve-hour flight from Heathrow and, as a total Japan virgin, I can tell you it’s all as weird as you’d probably imagine. Check out my hotel room’s toilet with inbuilt electronic arse power washing facility. Going to check that bad boy out as soon as I’ve filed this copy.

OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes

Sat, 01 Nov 2008

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
