Honda Other description

Up for sale is my 2006 CRF450, bought brand new in 2005 and has been kept up and modified including the following. GPS suspension revalve with bottoming cones and modified high speed compression spring for wider adjustment range. Setup for 190lbs. Hinson clutch basket, inner hub and pressure plate. White Brothers full race exhaust, jetted to match. Bike has low hrs since 2007. It was fully rebuilt in 2010 in preperation for another race season but multiple injuries put an end to that. Everything in the motor is new (all OEM from Honda) it has approximately twelve hrs on new engine. Bike is worth what Im asking, $2000 was spent on parts alone for motor and it will be good for years to come. This bike is not for beginners it is extremely powerful so no test rides without cash in hand.

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.

Eugene Laverty and Marco Melandri split a pair of victories at Monza but the most biggest news from the World Superbike weekend was a strange series of appeals after Race Two that saw Tom Sykes finish third, relegated to fourth and then reinstated on the final step of the podium. The unusual mix-up occurred after Sykes, sitting in third place, ran off track and into the run off area on Turn 5 on his final lap. The Kawasaki rider returned to the track again in third place where he finished ahead of Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli.
