Up for grabs is a 2004 Honda ST1300 that's had plenty of use but runs beautifully. These bikes have nice features such as electronic windshield and saddlebags as well as several extras including a Sargent seat, GI Pro Gear Indicator, Bar Risers with Ram ball and powerlet, MCL fork brace, Oxford heated grips and more.

I'm the second owner of the bike and the previous owner took care of the bike as well. However, it has over 100,000 miles and has hit lots of bugs and what-not so there are several scratches and dings as expected from a bike with this many miles. In spite of that, the bike runs great and can handle several more miles. Valve adjustment done at 90k, oil has been changed every 3,000 miles. Tires are PR2 and PR3 with only a few hundred miles on them, plenty of tread left.

Before going out on my high-powered motorcycle I always like to make sure that I'm wearing clean boxers with good elastic. Having once been admitted to A&E in a tatty pair of shreddies that weren't only on inside out (improved mileage) but were also on back to front (got dressed in the dark) and - if that wasn't already embarrassing enough - the elastic in the waistband had gone, too. Eugene Laverty did everything he could, scoring a pair of race wins but it was not enough as Tom Sykes rode smartly and conservatively at the season finale in Spain, securing his first ever World Superbike Championship. Sykes landed in Jerez with a 37-point lead over Laverty and a 38-point lead over Sylvain Guintoli. While Laverty battled Marco Melandri to win Race One, Sykes coasted comfortably in third for most of the race to score 16 points, enough to clinch the title.
