2003 Honda ST 1300 ANTILOCKING BRAKESPrice: $5,200Mileage: 67,zero milesOverall Condition: Excellent2003 was the 1st year Honda sold ST 1300 motorcycles in the U.S. This year s 2012 ST 1300 s are almost identical. This motorcycle has been kept in the garage and maintained professionally by Fox Valley Honda (Aurora, IL). It is in perfect running condition with a few small marks on the body. If you are interested in a Honda ST 1300 and the price is right, this bike is definitely worth seeing.Although this motorcycle has 67,000 mis on it, ST 1300 s (and ST 1100 s) routinely travel 200,000mis. This motorcycle has had all maintenance work completed, a newer battery, and low mileage Michelin Pilot three dual compound tires. I have always pre-owned synthetic oil and just changed the oil. The drive shaft has always been lubed with synthetic as well. Not only does this motorcycle have ANTILOCKING BRAKES brakes, the front brakes are linked to the rear brakes (LBS) and vice versa. The cost of the ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM ST 1300 is more than $1,000 more that the non-ANTI-LOCK BRAKING SYSTEM ST 1300. The wind shield is adjustable (electric switch) and very easy to move up if it rains or down if it is very hot. All ST 1300 s are fuel injected. I have always kept this motorcycle running throughout each winter and I have never had any issues or concerns involving fuel or any other mechanical issue.I purchased this ST from DesPlaines Honda and purchased a 7 (7) year warranty that covered everything. In 2008 a fork seal leaked fluid. Fox Valley Honda performed the warranty work and replaced the seals in both forks. No other repairs have ever been necessary. I purchased the Honda rear top box from David Silver (UK) and paid major bucks for it. It matches the exact color of my ST 1300 and holds 2 full-face helmets or a massive quantity of clothes. It removes easily from the bike to be carried inside. The âThrottle Meisterâ friction lock throttle control is a super high-quality throttle control that looks great with the chrome ends a
