Electric Motorcycle Conversion [video]

If you were ever curious how to convert your smelly, noisy and dirty gas powered motorcycle into a quiet and zero emissions electric motorcycle then you have to check this video out from GomiStyle.  They take an old Honda Rebel 250 and customize the frame to accommodate the electric motor and batteries, they claim the conversion should take about two to three days to complete, the batteries will take about 5-8 hours to charge and will give you a top speed of 45 mph. Update: Honda CB750 Prototype Sells For Nearly $150,000

Two days ago we posted about an ultra-exclusive Honda CB750 prototype for sale on eBay. One of only four built, and the only one still in operating condition, bidding for this piece of motorcycling history was fast and furious. However, once all was said and done, the winning bid for this Honda was an astounding $148,100.

WSBK Shuffle: Elias to Red Devils Roma As Fabrizio In talks to Replace Injured Rea at Honda

The World Superbike Championship was off this past weekend but it looks like there will be some significant changes to the grid when the series resumes next weekend at Istanbul Park in Turkey. Veteran racer Toni Elias has quit his Moto2 team, reportedly to sign with the Red Devils Roma squad to ride the Aprilia RSV4 Factory for the remaining four rounds of the season. Elias will replace Michel Fabrizio who is reportedly unhappy with late payments from the team’s sponsors.
