2001 Honda Rc 51, 2001 Honda RC51/RVT1000 for sale. No trades. Bike runs good and has new Michelin tires. The engine is a 1000cc liquid cooled v-twin. Fairings are aftermarket fiberglass and only have white primer on them at the moment. Has micron exhaust and power commander 3. Bike has 42xxx miles on it. Mon, 04 Jun 2012Padett’s Honda racer Bruce Anstey won the first Monster Energy Supersport TT race of the 2012 Isle of Man TT by a mere 0.77 seconds over rider Cameron Donald. The race could have been even closer if Gary Johnson, another Honda rider, hadn’t run out of gas on the final lap. Before he ran out of fuel, Johnson was in the mix with Anstey and Donald with just 0.62 seconds separating the three riders.
Honda to Sponsor and Compete in 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Tue, 23 Apr 2013American Honda announced it will be a partnering sponsor for the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb while also entering the competition, racing in nine different classes (well, seventh, plus “Exhibition” entries in both car and motorcycle categories). Honda R&D staff, engineers, test riders and drivers will compete in car, motorcycle and ATV categories. Honda will field a record ten entries in all, with nine different vehicles including the CBR1000RR, CBR600RR, CRF450R and CRF250R.
