Built around the legendary Gold Wing six cylinder the Valkyrie got the better performing six individual chrome plated carbs and a much more athletic look compared to the fully clad mild mannered Gold Wing. A great value for a bike as capable as this and did we mention the sound?

US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results

The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .

Hero MotoCorp Forms Joint Venture with Magneti Marelli

Indian manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is teaming up with electronic fuel injection expert Magneti Marelli in a new joint venture. Hero will hold a 60% share in the company with Magenti Marelli controlling the other 40%. The two companies are initially investing a combined US$8.5 million into the joint venture, with a planned investment of US$27 million total over the next ten years.
