1989 Honda Goldwing GL 1500 w/ Trailer, This Gold Wing has a color matched trailer with it! The GL 1500 Gold Wing was Honda's top of the line touring bike from 1988 to 2001, This one is a 1989. The Engine on the GL 1500 models is a liquid cooled, horizontally opposed six cylinder 1520 cc with single overhead camshafts and hydraulically operated lifters. Fuel is delivered to two down-draft CV carburetors by an electric fuel pump. The front suspension uses a pair of conventional damper rod forks with an anti-dive device built in. Final drive is by a shaft. The front brakes uses dual disc and the rear brake uses a single disc, the front and rear brakes are interlinked; the brake pedal operates the front left brake as well as the rear brake. The right front brake is operated by the lever on the right handlebar independently of the rear and left front brake.The trailer has new tires on it, the spare is new also. From a Honda press release: American Honda Motor Corp., Inc. announced today that it has renewed its contract with GEICO Honda for an additional three years, ensuring that the Factory Connection-run program will continue running Honda’s factory-supported 250 team through the 2017 season. Honda’s long professional relationship with Factory Connection owners Mike Grondahl, Jeff Majkrzak and Rick Zielfelder started in 1995, when the company began providing the factory team with suspension-related technical support.

Pedrosa Staying with Repsol Honda Through 2016 MotoGP Season

Honda has signed Dani Pedrosa to a two-year contract extension that will see the Spanish racer stay with its factory MotoGP team through the 2016 season. By the end of the contract, Pedrosa will have spent a whole decade racing for Honda in the premier class to go with another five seasons in the 125cc and 250cc classes. The signing follows a similar two-year contract extension for Pedrosa’s teammate, the reigning World Champion Marc Marquez while over in the Yamaha camp, Valentino Rossi also recently signed a two-year contract extension, making 2016 the year to watch for silly season drama.

Andrea Dovizioso describes the perfect lap from the start to the corners. All three of the Repsol Honda riders have very different riding styles and comparing the above footage of Dovi against Stoner you can see that he is a lot more conservative on the bike than a ragged lap of his Australian team-mate. Still incredibly rapid though.
