I have a 1985 Honda CH150D Elite Deluxe for sale in exceptional condition. Tires are new, oil has recently been changed, coolant is full, no leaks. Has custom crash bars, custom trunk, custom clearance and 3rd brake light, custom windshield, cover, and not 1 original piece is missing. I spent nearly a year restoring this scooter, and am ready to move on from it (it was a project from the beginning, I do this as a hobby). This is a Japanese built scooter, 153cc water cooled, and it will do nearly 70mph (typical cruising flat speed is 61-63 depending on rider and cargo weight). Mileage is 1812. I have everything for this scooter including the owner's manual AND the title. I have kept a complete list of all investment put into the scooter in order to restore it down to the last bolt, and what I am selling it for is almost what I put into it, so I will be FIRM on the selling price. Honda Raises MSRP for 2013 NC700X But Lowers Price for DCT Option
Wed, 13 Feb 2013The big news from Honda last week was the introduction of the new CTX700 and CTX700N cruisers. Flying a little under the radar however was a change to American Honda‘s pricing structure for the 2013 NC700X which sees a price increase for the base model but a price cut for combined anti-lock brakes and a dual clutch transmission Honda introduced the NC700X last year at an impressively low price of $6999 for the base model and $8999 with ABS and DCT. The low price point was one key advantage we awarded the 2012 NC700X over the $7899 Kawasaki Versys in our recent Middleweight Multi-Tool Shootout.
2013 European Junior Cup to Use Honda CBR500R
Wed, 14 Nov 2012As expected, Honda announced its new CBR500R sportbike will be featured in the 2013 European Junior Cup, a single-spec racing series that competes at European rounds of the World Superbike Championship. We saw this coming when Honda announced it would supply an all new sportbike for the European Junior Cup, but the news wasn’t official until after Honda unveiled the CBR500R alongside its siblings the CB500F and CB500X at the 2012 EICMA Show. Sun, 03 Apr 2011So with an afternoon of sightseeing completed (a rare luxury on most launches) it's back to the hotel for the press conference. These are you usually long winded, tooth pulling affairs with Japanese technicians insisting on speaking their bestest engrish which only serves to elongate the proceedings. Nothing kills a presentation more than reading every word of a powerpoint slide verbatum, even thought the viewers can read exactly the same words (and probably a lot faster). The Crossrunner presentation was mercifully brief and snappy followed by dinner in the hotel and a reasonably early night as everyone had already been up for twenty hours.
