Honda Other description

4109 South 530 East, Suit 28B Hello and welcome to my listing. I'm selling my 1984 1200 Honda Aspencade Goldwing. This bike has 47,700 mis on her She is an outstanding bike. I have been ridings Wings since I was sixteen years old Yep that's Right 16 yrs old was when I got my 1st wing a 1977 1000cc Goldwing bare bike. I buy and sell Wings as a hobby from time to time. Anyway moving on this is an OUTSTANDING bike. I rate all my bikes and the overall appearance condition is 9.5 easy. The paint is OUTSTANDING 9.5 no sun fading, no clear coat issues no scratches. The tires are almost new front and back as seen. I just replaced the back brake pads, added driving lamps, changed the engine oil and filter. Changed the finale drive oil, changed the battery, polished the chrome no rust. There is an almost new windscreen. The seat is GREAT no seam separation and only has some light use from wear. The motor has some light pitting on the aluminum nothing big. The radio is dated and I know works as well as the CB I'm just not sure how??? The bike could use a tune up. My wife and I just went to Moab and returned 11-29-2013 not 1 problem NOTHING! Now as listed the bike has 47,700mis not anything really not for a wing. I had 1 wing for a few years that had over 125,000mis and it was as good the day I sold it as the day I had it with 20,000mis on it. The only thing I did to that bike was to take care of her, Oil-tune up and light TLC. If you like the old girls as I do this 1 could be for you. Please call me with any questions.

R&G announce cheaper engine case cover kits

Tue, 06 Sep 2011

R&G Racing has reacted to the rising cost of official motorcycle parts from manufacturers by creating money saving packages on its Engine Case Covers. As a reaction to the parts price rise, the crash protection leader has created a kit package on its Engine Case Covers (ECC) – offering an overall saving of more than 10% when compared to buying the items individually. The ECCs are designed to protect the engine cases and the inner workings of the motor in the event of a drop by acting as a sturdy ‘second skin’.By simply bolting over the original items, fitting the durable Engine Case Covers doesn’t require draining any engine fluids or replacing gaskets. Extensively developed in the ACU R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R600 Trophy, as well as being tested and approved by the California Superbike School in the UK and USA, the covers can allow a bike to be ridden after a crash or prevent terminal engine damage from oil leaks or casing punctures.Protection benefits aside, financial savings for riders are evident by looking at official parts prices; to replace only the clutch cover on a Suzuki GSX-R1000K7 would cost £206 including a new gasket, but all three R&G Engine Case Covers for this bike cost only £143.
