I am selling my 1983 GL1100 Interstate. The Bike is fairly clean, though the seat is cracking and the paint not perfect. The bike has about 66.5k miles on it. Tires are pretty descent and the battery is about 6 mons old. Runs pretty well, though the bike can get a real bad shimmy between 30-40mph, which I think means that it needs the "front steering bearing" replaced. The Temp gauge LED and Voltmeter LED work. I did pull the original radio and installed an AM/FM/SD card unit in the right glove box. Serious inquires only- am not interested in any trades- thanks

Wed, 28 Jul 2010Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others. 2013 AIMExpo: Skidbike
Mon, 21 Oct 2013One of the most inventive devices seen at this week’s AIMExpo is the Skidbike, a novel creation that helps teach riders the skills to balance and to master threshold braking. It’s a Swedish/American invention originally designed to educate riders how to sufficiently apply brakes to avoid an accident without the danger of tipping over and causing injuries. It uses an electrically operated hydraulic ram built on a hinged dolly to reduce front-tire grip, which drastically reduces speeds when traction is lost so riders can learn how to use the brakes effectively.

Robert Gurga has been promoted to the position of Vice President, Motorcycle Division. “After nearly 30 years with the Motorcycle Division, I have made the decision to step down,” said Blank.
