I have a 1982 Honda FT 500 Ascot with 12,xxx original miles up for saleAside from the plastics being a little rough the bike is in attractive condition and was my daily driver around the little town I live in untell about a month agow the only thing it needs to be 100% rideable is rear shocks there $250 on-line It has a brand new battery, the tires are in terrific shape I just did a oil change less than 100 mis ago and a valve adjustment was done as well.It could probably use a new chain soon and the headlamp fuse is pulled do to over wattage headlamp draining the battery (need to install on/off switch it's better than having a candle for a light)There are some little quarks about the bike that you would need to get familiar with but that's to be expected with a bike of this age. Yamaha Tops Second Day of Sepang Test as Honda Twiddles Thumbs

Ben Spies topped the time sheets ahead of teammate Jorge Lorenzo as Yamaha continued its MotoGP pre-season testing in Malaysia. While their rivals at Honda were idled by an engine problem, the two factory Yamaha riders found improvement on their Day One times and gathered data about riding in both wet and dry conditions. Spies set the best lap time at 2:01.285 while testing different chassis settings in the morning.
