NO RESERVE!!! 1982 Honda CM 450E found in storage building at auction. Bike seems to be all there, tires look in good shape, hold air and don't seem to have any dry rot. Drum brakes work front and rear. All lights work. No rips or tears in seat, some parts have light surface rust but nothing serious. Has dent in right side gas tank but does not leak, no oil or gas leaks. I replaced plugs and oil and bike started right up. Will run but floods quickly. Needs carbs adjusted. Probably needs new battery and air filter, and gas cap is not opening with key but will come off to fill. Bike has 26,379 miles, electric start. Would make good bike with minimal TLC. Thu, 28 Apr 2011I’ll be the first to admit that the procedure to get a motorcycle endorsement (and a car license for that matter) in this country is incredibly easy. If you’re smart, you sit in a classroom for a few hours, answer some basic questions, learn all the controls, perform a simple riding test, and you’re off to the races. 2013 AIMExpo: Skidbike
Mon, 21 Oct 2013One of the most inventive devices seen at this week’s AIMExpo is the Skidbike, a novel creation that helps teach riders the skills to balance and to master threshold braking. It’s a Swedish/American invention originally designed to educate riders how to sufficiently apply brakes to avoid an accident without the danger of tipping over and causing injuries. It uses an electrically operated hydraulic ram built on a hinged dolly to reduce front-tire grip, which drastically reduces speeds when traction is lost so riders can learn how to use the brakes effectively.
2015 Honda CB300F Gets CARB Approval
Wed, 18 Jun 2014The Honda CBR300R will be joined by a naked model, if new certification documents from the California Air Resources Board are any indication. Back in March, we broke the story of a design patent for a new small-displacement naked Honda based on its CBR300R/CBR250R platform. CARB has certified a new model called the 2015 Honda CB300F along with the CBR300R and its ABS-equipped variant.
