Honda Other description
Up for sale a 1979 Honda XL 75. This little trail bike is all original and is in very good shape. The carb has been ultra sound cleaned, valves adjusted, points adjusted, oil changed, and a new battery installed. Like all little single Hondas this bike starts first kick and will run forever. The right hand control has been replaced with a new OEM Honda piece. There is some scuffing in the clear on the top of the tank and an area on the right side where the paint has been rubbed through. Other than that this is a fine example of an XL 75. As you can see from the pictures the rest of the bike is in very good condition. The turn signals are on the bike but are not functional. It is missing at least the flasher unit. Most people remove them anyway as they get damaged in the trail. Other than that all lights work as they should. A fun little bike to put in your camper, or for your favorite grandchild.
This bike has a NO TITLE, but I will provide you with a bill of sale. Winning bid MUST be paid within 7 days. If checks are sent they will take 3-10 days to clear before the bike can be picked up. Buyer is responsible for ALL transportation arrangements/pickup. |

Hero claims fuel economy of up to 100 km/l, which translates to an eye-popping 235 mpg.
Honda Reminds Us It's Working On A New Hornet
Mon, 06 Jun 2022Expect the production model at EICMA in November One of the biggest surprises at the 2021 EICMA show last November was the news Honda is working on a new Hornet model. At its booth in Milan, Honda presented a sculpture with an elaborate light show projecting a hint at what to expect from the new Hornet. In the six months following EICMA, however, there has been very little, er, “buzz”, coming from Honda.
The unseen Honda collection
Thu, 07 Jan 2010IN AN UMARKED warehouse in Torrance, California, lies a collection of classic Honda cars and motorcycles from the past four decades - most have never been seen by public eyes. The collection was started by a former executive of American Honda, Tom Elliott, Honda USA's executive vice president for sales, John Mendel, tells the New York Times.“The problem was, we kept turning up more and more significant models that we couldn’t let go of,” said Mr. Mendel. We just kept parking them in this warehouse.
