Honda Other description

I have up for auction a 1979 Honda CX 500 Custom, 10,000 original miles. I am the second owner of this bike and I only rode it one season. New parts include new tires and brakes, new throttle cables, new battery, new winshield, new front brake master cylinder. I put a total of 1,000 miles on the bike and it runs and drives like it should. Always garage stored. No rips in seat. Back rest with pouch. Factory installed fairing with storage.  One dent on the right side of gas tank,  rust stained chrome mufflers, and right mirror is missing.

I am selling this bike because it does't get used as much as I thought. Feel free to ask any questions.

This bike will be sold "as is" with no warrenty. Buyer is resonsible for shipping or local pick up. $200 deposit at close of auction with the remaining balance to be paid at pick up with certified bank check or cash, no personal checks please.

2014 AMA Supercross – Indianapolis Results

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

Ryan Dungey captured his first win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season in a wild main event that saw two of the top title contenders crashing on the starting straight at Indianapolis‘ Lucas Oil Stadium. Smartop MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi took the holeshot for the second race in a row, but the big news was incoming points leader Ryan Villopoto and Ken Roczen going down before the first turn. Roczen trailed Villopoto by nine points going into the Indianapolis round, but the KTM rookie’s hopes of overtaking the reigning champion took a blow when he went down on the straight, knocking Villopoto off in the process.

Ben Bostrom Events

Fri, 05 Jul 2013

Ex-racer Ben Bostrum might have stopped competing on motorcycles, but he hasn't given up his passion for two wheels. He's teamed up with motorsports promoter M1 to create Ben Bostrom Events, a company that plans to host world-class cycling and running races across the US. According to a press release, the high-intensity events will feature an 'entertainment-filled atmosphere', combining many of the familiar elements found at other MOB (mud, obstacles, beer) racing events.

Parrish's predictions for Silverstone MotoGP

Fri, 18 Jun 2010

I'm at Silverstone for the British MotoGP and Steve Parrish spoke to us all about his predictions for the podium. Parrish has gone for Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa to take the top three spots and spray the bubbly at the end of the race. Not too sure on his call though as I think Dani will be riding on a high after winning at Mugello and surely the speedy Spaniard will take full advantage and wring the neck of the Honda at the (supposedly) high speed Silverstone Circuit.
