STARTS UP VERY EASY. NICE CHROME THROUGHOUT, SPOTLESS SEAT, CLEAN MOTOR W/ NEW PLUGS, OIL, FILTER, CARB SERVICE. IT HAS TRIPLE  POLISHED COVERS W/GASKETS. TIRES ARE ORIGINAL, GOOD SHAPE BUT HARD. CALIPER WAS JUST SERVICED. CLEAN EXHAUST PIPES. OVERALL A 9 OUT OF A 10. IT DOES HAVE ONE SMALL IMPERFECTION ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE TANK. By John Burns 1990 Honda ST1100 begat 2003 Honda ST1300, which begat 2014 Honda CTX1300… which at some point in the last few years seems to have gone, mercifully, the way of all flesh. Now if it’s a Honda sport tourer you crave, it’s the Gold Wing or, well, that’s about it. Anyway, the big 1261cc V-four ST1300 was quite the long-distance mile muncher 20 years ago.

Japan Needs Your Help

By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees  and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.
